 Bair Isand Paddle, San Francisco 

” Fall is a wonderful season to kayak this protected coastal wetland and wildlife refuge. We will paddle about 5 miles working our way through the marsh to pull ashore at an oyster covered beach for a quick lunch. Discover a whole new way to see our inland sea.

 Birdwatching Fundamentals – Day Trips  ( Adult )

A wonderful opportunity to watch birds all around us. This class will introduce you to the exciting hobby of birding by discuss optics, field guides and teh classification of major bird groups. A field trip to watch land birds and waterfowl will follow.

 Elkhorn Slough by Sea Kayak

An introductory level kayak at Elkhorn Slough, one of California’s largest remaining coastal wetlands, is home to thousands of birds and numerous harbor seals and sea otters. Take a trip to paddling along this 7-mile long slough….

 Henry cowell Adventure Hike ( Adults )

Have fun workout into a wild corner of Santa Cruz Mountains into the San Lorenzo River Gorge through giant redwoods and pools. Bring lunch with you. The hike is moderately strenuous and about 4.5 miles long… 

HORSEBACK RIDING; HOME AND GARDEN

There are lots of more outdoor activities organized by the city recreation department. Horseback riding, Home and Gardening, Sports, and etc… Do you believe color has psychological or biological effect to mood. Join some gardening class …  Take time to search through their website and find one you could enjoy. Relax and learn something new at the same time can refresh your mood.
